South African tennis ace Lloyd Harris has jumped 10 spots to No 80 in the latest ATP rankings released on Monday.
This follows Harris' run to the quarter-finals of last week's European Open in Antwerp where he lost 6-3, 7-6 (7/2) to eventual champion Ugo Humbert of France.
The 23-year-old South African had to make his way through qualifying and then won two main draw matches to reach the last eight of the ATP 250-level event.
Harris is now closing in on his career-high ATP ranking of 72 which he achieved in January this year after reaching the Adelaide final.
The Capetonian will be in action at the Astana Open in Kazakhstan this week where he will face 83rd-ranked Belarusian Egor Gerasimov in the first round on Tuesday.
